This is a place where fairies, angels and little princesses do indeed exist. I believe in photographing the beauty of children being children. The funny little things they do and the sometimes awkward movements they make are some of my favorite photos.

A Review of My Work
Josef Woodward (Los Angeles Times) once described my paintings this way:
"Stamos certainly doesn't adopt a straight-forward approach to image-making. She has studied art and psychology, and practices both, and her paintings appear as abstract portraits, which double as investigations of complex personalities.
"Much of Stephanie's work involves the abstraction of faces. Her paintings become a type of mask. The mask represents the side we would like others to see. The chaos that surrounds the mask represents the true depth of our emotions. Each work becomes a study on art psychology. Some faces seem angry, while others are haunted. Whatever the expression, these paintings all have more than one story to tell."

Welcome
If you are tired of the same old portrait photos you've come to the right place. Creativity is everything here. I strive to produce photos that will be kept for a lifetime.
I am excited about taking this new direction for the exhibition of my various artistic endeavors. My wish is that this site and its future enhancements will allow you to become acquainted with what I do and give you a better idea of what motivates me and influences my work.
If you would like a brochure, references, or other examples of my recent work, please feel free to EMAIL me for more information.
About this site
Online versions of my past work can be found in my Paintings Portfolio. These paintings span much of my earlier years as an artist and some of my work during those years was very experimental. Most of the paintings shown here were created during my "Hollywood Days." You can see thumbnails of examples that have been uploaded and then link from there to larger versions. The photographs are of the original pieces and are fairly accurate representations. Take a look and feel free to share your opinions. If you're interested in reproductions or prints, call me and I'll see what I can put together for you.
In addition to my current photography, painting, and scrap-booking assignments, I continue to expand on my "Claire Card" offerings. I've been very pleased with the acceptance of these custom-made, one-of-a-kind greeting cards featuring a very special young lady.
Although the concept of the "Claire Card" is similar in some ways to popular commercial greeting cards that use images of young children in attractive settings, each "Claire Card" is actually a unique and individual hand made piece of art.
